Privacy Policy

LockyFeed is a Chrome extension built to run entirely on your device. This page explains, in plain language, what that means for your data.

What we collect

Nothing. LockyFeed has no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, and makes no network requests of its own.

Where your data lives

All settings and statistics — which sites you've set rules for, timers, attempt/block counts — are stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local and never leave your device.

What the permissions are for

LockyFeed asks for a handful of Chrome permissions: storage, alarms, tabs, webNavigation, scripting, declarativeNetRequest, idle, and access to the sites you choose to add rules for. All of them exist solely to block or delay access to the sites you selected and to filter YouTube down to music-only content. LockyFeed doesn't read page content beyond what that requires, and nothing is ever transmitted anywhere.

Export & import

You can export your settings to a JSON file and import them back later. That file is created and opened entirely by you — it never passes through us or any server.

Third parties

None. LockyFeed doesn't share data with anyone, because it doesn't collect any to share.

Payments

LockyFeed itself is free. The "Buy the author a coffee" link is an optional donation that opens Buy Me a Coffee in a new tab — we get no data from that page or from any transaction there.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted at this same URL.
